26 April: Barracks to Barracks Tandem Ride

Tandem bike

Since starting to train for this fundraiser last year, Laura and Jacob Reuter found they are expecting a baby. Instead of cycling with Laura, Jacob will be joined by fellow serving soldier and SASRA Member Corporal of Horse Rob Tonkin of the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment.

SASRA has been a help and blessing to Rob over his years of service with materials, books and prayer. Scripture Reader Bob Elliot helped enormously during Rob’s time training in South Wales and Rob benefitted from the ministry of another Reader, Steve Penny, during his years in Windsor. Rob is now a regular attendee of Scripture Reader Josh Fortune’s fellowship group at Hyde Park Barracks.

Together, they will take on the 40-mile ride to raise money for the vital work of SASRA.

Can you help them reach their target of £2k?
