The Soldiers’ and Aviators’ Scripture Readers Association

Join us at Keswick 2023

We are pleased to announce that SASRA will have a stand at all three weeks of this year’s Keswick Convention, where Regional Manager North Andrew McMahon will be joined by a different Scripture Reader for each of the three weeks.

SASRA reports are planned to coincide with the Convention – more details to be announced closer to the time. Last year, Andrew was joined by ASR Lee McDade, who met the parents of a soldier Lee knew while in Germany:

I met a lovely Christian lad who was a Reserve soldier going to Afghanistan. He had left his job to serve in the conflict there. As a family, we hosted him, did a Bible study together and kept him in our prayers whilst he was on tour. Having survived a roadside bomb explosion, he returned to Germany where we met up. He then went back to the UK, but we kept in contact via social media. While at Keswick, I met with his parents who were so thankful that there was someone in Germany who looked after their son before, during and after his tour of Afghanistan. It was an emotional meet, but it filled me with utter joy, praise God!

Look out for the SASRA stand and come over to introduce yourselves and share how SASRA has been an encouragement to you.
