Doors of Beloved Institution to Reopen

We are delighted to announce that the Jackson Club has been taken over by another Christian charity: the Church of England Soldiers’, Sailors’ & Airmen’s Clubs (CESSAC).

The Commanding Officer thanks ASR Kevin Wadsworth for his service at the Jackson Club.

This is welcome news for customers of the much-loved Jackson Club, following the sad news of its closure in April. ASR Kevin Wadsworth, who faithfully managed the operation of the club, was awarded the Chairman’s certificate by the Commanding Officer at the closing ceremony.

In the Lord’s provision, CESSAC have taken over the club, making it part of their network of cafés. The Jackson Club is currently being refurbished and will hopefully reopen before the end of 2025. ASR Mike Blackstock will continue to have an office in the club after the refurbishment.
