Growing the Work

As part of our mission to spread the saving knowledge of Christ among the serving personnel of the British Army and the Royal Air Force, we want to grow to 25 Scripture Readers by 2030.

We are pleased, therefore, to announce that two more Scripture Readers will be joining the mission field next month.

John Miskelly will be starting as a part-time Scripture Reader at Leuchars in Fife, east coast of Scotland. It is a British Army barracks, with the RAF operating an airfield within Leuchars Station.

Some of you will remember Jim Henderson, who had to leave the work due to poor health in 2022. Following a successful heart transplant, Jim will be returning as a part-time Scripture Reader at Defence Medical Services (DMS) Whittington in Staffordshire.
