Steven Dougherty is the Scripture Reader at RAF Northolt in West London. Steven completed his training last year, before starting at Northolt. He reflects on how the work at Northolt is going.

I feel I have settled in well and build a solid relationship with the Chaplain. I’ve started a weekly Bible Study, which people are regularly attending. It has been a real joy to lead it. Earlier this year, I launched a ‘tea and toast’ morning which has had so much support from the station that it’s become a weekly event. It’s a great opportunity for me to be seen and build relationships and therefore share my faith and invite people to the Bible Study. I am finding more opportunities to serve on the station.
