Ready to serve: Edinburgh Tattoo

Literature on display at the Edinburgh Tattoo

The SASRA Team are once again offering support for the performers of the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo during their rehearsals week at Redford Barracks.

The SASRA café is located just across from the parade square where the rehearsals are happening Monday-Thursday, before the performers move to Edinburgh Castle. Men and women from Norway, the USA, Australia, Trinidad and Tobago and Switzerland will be performing alongside the UK and Ireland, with this year’s focus on the Royal Air Force.

Offering performers teas, coffees, sweet snacks for physical sustainment, there are also Bibles and literature to cater for their spiritual welfare.

‘Standby, GO!’

It had been a while since I heard those words shouted out on a cold Catterick morning (over nineteen years to be precise), and I inwardly shuddered as a large crowd of people started jostling over the start line of the 2024 PARAS’10 event.
