Regional Manager North Andrew McMahon, who is also a Reservist Artillery Officer, was recently on a live fire exercise with his battery, 103 Reg Royal Artillery, in Otterburn Northumberland. In the providence of God, ASR Dave Hossack was able to visit this exercise.

ASR Hossack works at the Infantry Training Centre in Catterick. He does not usually spend time amongst the reservists and so the opportunity to attend the exercise was most unusual.

Dave was able to hand out around two dozen copies of the Gospel of John. One young man in particular – who had been asking questions concerning Christianity – happily received one of these. As well as handing out literature, Dave supported the Chaplain during this exercise and was well received.

Not only was this a wonderful gospel opportunity but an answer to prayer, a great encouragement and blessing to Andrew, who has been praying for more ways to reach his soldiers. It was also an encouragement for another Christian within the regiment.

Praise God for this open door and pray that God would continue to bring more souls into His kingdom through the work being done.
