The Soldiers’ and Aviators’ Scripture Readers Association

See you at the Keswick Convention 2025

The Keswick Convention 2025

SASRA will be representing their work amongst the Army and the RAF at the Keswick Convention 2025. During 12–26 July, we will have Scripture Readers and others presenting the work of the Soldiers’ and Aviators’ Scripture Readers Association in the mission tent within the Pencil Factory.

Working alongside the Chaplaincy, our Scripture Readers, all believing Christians and ex-Forces, work to introduce soldiers and air force personnel to a practical experience of the Christian faith by living alongside and working alongside them ‘behind the wire’.

What is the event?

Keswick Convention is a unique Christian event. Christians from all over the UK and from around the world gather in Keswick to hear the Word of God, to sing God’s praises, to be encouraged, inspired and equipped to love and live for Christ in His world.

Why attend the event?

The programme includes kids and youth meetings, Bible teaching, seminars and worship, and much more taking place at the Pencil Factory in Keswick.

What is SASRA’s role in the event?

SASRA will be representing its work amongst the British Army and the RAF. During 12–26 July, we will have Bible Scripture Readers and others presenting the work of the Soldiers’ and Aviators’ Scripture Readers Association in the mission tent within the Pencil Factory. This showcases the valuable work of our Holy Bible readings about life at this popular Christian event.
