Remembrance at the Jackson Club

Outside the Jackson Club

The Jackson Club at Minley Barracks is the surviving legacy of the work of Miss Daniell’s Soldiers Homes. This year, ASR Mike Blackstock was able to participate in the Remembrance service on camp.

There were more soldiers in attendance for this year's Remembrance reception at the Jackson Club compared to the inaugural reception last year. Also, it was great to see both officers and privates engaging with our SASRA resources table.

As well as the opportunity to speak to the service personnel at such an important time of the year, attendees were invited to the Jackson Club after the service for tea and biscuits. There, Mike was able to chat to soldiers and man the SASRA resource table.
